Christian Dior Makeup’s creative director Peter Philips says deconstructed eyeliner is a mix between "a smokey eye and an eyeliner." This is an edgy, beautiful, and unique look.

For this dramatic minimalist look, Philips says, “It is split in two parts, with black dabbed on the inner and outer eye and then blended to connect.”
Do A Deconstructed Eyeliner Inspired Look
If you don’t want to jump headfirst into this look, start out by using a smudged liner. Avoid extending it to the outer and inner eye, and just blend out the middle portion.
Try Rainbow
For those who enjoy going all out, try a rainbow-inspired look. Skip the black liner and go straight for bold, fun colors like pink and yellow to give off a postmodern pop.
