How To Look Fresh-Faced When You Don’t Have Makeup
By JELENA ASKA
Contour With Self-Tanner
Self-tanner can be used for contouring, and the best part is it can last up to three days before needing to be reapplied. Use a contouring brush, and don't apply a lot of product the first time to ensure it doesn't end up orange or streaky.
Pinch Your Cheeks
You can pinch your cheeks for a temporary, natural hint of blush. This trick can be done on any area where you would normally apply blush, but remember that skin tone and skin sensitivity play a big role in how successful it is.
Curl With Vaseline
For a temporary lash lift, apply some Vaseline to your lashes or an eyelash curler, then curl your lashes like usual. The Vaseline will hold the curl, will make your lashes more visible, and “may help condition the lashes,” per dermatologist Dr. Michele Green, M.D.
Try Overnight Curls
Overnight curls are a great way to look put together without any effort in the morning. Simply twist and wrap your hair with a length of fabric like a towel, leggings, or socks before you go to bed for easy, bouncy curls the next day.
Use Lip Balm
Cracked and dry lips look bad and feel worse, so make sure you wear lip balm regularly to stay looking fresh. Look for lip balms that include both a humectant like hyaluronic acid or glycerin, and an occlusive like beeswax or shea butter.
