How To Make Your Lip Gloss Last Longer
By LESLIE LEON
Lip gloss is a beautiful addition to your makeup routine, but the only downside is that it never lasts long and has to be reapplied multiple times a day. This is how you can make your lip gloss stay for more than just a few hours.
Lip care is crucial for long lasting lip gloss, so before you apply your products, make sure to exfoliate them to get rid of dead skin and use a hydrating lip balm so they’re plump. Makeup.com recommends using a lip liner so your lip gloss can stick within the lines, but if you don’t have one, you can use powder or lipstick underneath the gloss.
A lip gloss’ formula determines its longevity, so a sticky gloss’ polymers will make it last longer, but you are more at risk of getting clumps. When applying a sticky gloss, dab the middle of your bottom lip and press them together to spread it evenly, and if you want a fuller look, apply it all over the bottom lip and then press your lips together.
