Princess Diana's Favorite Perfume Is A Timeless Floral Scent
By LESLIE LEON
Princess Diana had a heightened sense of fashion and beauty, even when it came to fragrances. According to her butler Paul Burrell, her favorite was Hermès' 24 Faubourg.
As Hermès describes it, Hermès' 24 Faubourg evokes the scents of the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean, which is fitting for someone like Diana who loved to travel.
The fragrance description notes that it "is bursting with the scent of white flowers, from radiant orange blossom and sunny jasmine to enveloping vanilla."
Another fragrance Diana loved was the one she wore on her wedding day: Quelques Fleurs by Houbigant. It has notes of jasmine, tuberose, lily of the valley, violet, and rose.
Diana also loved the fragrance Penhaligon’s Bluebell, which has notes of citrus, hyacinth, and clove that produce a woody scent that’s reminiscent of spring weather.
