TikTok's 5 Crush Method May Unlock Your Dating Confidence

When you focus on one crush for a while, seeing the other dating prospects out there can be hard. And when things fall through, it can seem like the dating pool is all dried up.
TikTok content creator Madeleine Chalk has the solution to this problem in a series of videos about the dating hack she calls the ‘5 crush method.’
Chalk says looking for only one love interest can wreck your dating confidence. Instead, she suggests having at least five crushes in mind.
Applying this method doesn’t mean that you must date all five crushes at once, but it does mean that you have people in mind that you could pursue if you wanted to.
Chalk says your chosen crushes make up your "personal tidepool of five specific, high-quality fish." And if you find yourself picking favorites, that's okay.
