Motherhood looks good on Eva Longoria. Less than a year after giving birth to her son Santiago, the actress has been sharing a series of vacation snaps that show off her post-baby body in a tiny red bikini.
At 44-years-old, it appears Longoria is as confident as ever, striking an impressive poolside yoga pose in one of the photos and throwing up peace signs in the other. She simply captioned the latter, "Sunsets." But we're having a hard time taking our eyes off of her toned tummy to look at anything in the background.
Despite her outwardly confidence, the star recognizes that her body is much different after giving birth -- and she's learned to be okay with that. Entertainment Tonight spoke with Longoria on the set of Dora the Explorer, her first project post-pregnancy, and she shared that she started the film twenty pounds heavier. "I still had all my baby weight so I was like, ‘Oh my god, why am I doing this right now?," she said. "I should have waited.’ But I'm so happy I just jumped in and did it."
The new mom also said that she didn't start exercising immediately after giving birth, but waited five months to return to the gym. She's since been sharing her workouts on social media, hoping to inspire other moms to move for at least 30 minutes a day. "We deserve it ladies!" she wrote in one post.
Longoria's 6.3 million Instagram followers have been flooding her vacation snaps with positive comments, including fellow supermom Serena Williams, who also took time off after giving birth.
"You look so good," the tennis star wrote. "Didn't you just have a baby," Alex Meneses added with a number of fire emojis.
Still, it certainly looks like Longoria is prioritizing motherhood and enjoying every second she gets to spend with her son; the Desperate Housewives star also posted photos of herself and Santiago lounging happily by the pool and in bed.
