Just two months after getting engaged, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have reportedly gotten married. While the 24-year-old pop star and 21-year-old model had planned to wait until 2019 to wed, according to People, they tied the knot yesterday at a New York City courthouse, following a series of New York Fashion Week appearances and events.
“They went ahead and did it without listening to anyone,” a source told the publication. We're still waiting for confirmation from the couple, but hey, the heart wants what the heart wants.
This news comes after the two were spotted seeking a marriage license at New York's Marriage Bureau yesterday. Several witnesses (lucky!) say that Bieber was very emotional, even crying while telling his fiancée, "I can't wait to marry you, baby."
Earlier that morning. Bieber danced through New York City’s Central Park while Baldwin attended a bareMinerals event. As a new global ambassador for the brand, Baldwin was reserved but very relaxed, showing off her sparkly diamond. I can assure you that she appeared to have no pre-wedding jitters — trust me, I was there.
Another source confirmed to the People that the newlyweds are going to have a formal religious ceremony and celebration with friends and family sometime soon. “They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love,” the source said. The traditional ceremony could happen as early as next week, TMZ reports, and will likely be held in Ontario, Canada. (We're still waiting for our invite -- maybe Hurricane Florence has delayed its delivery? Someone please advise.)
And while the shotgun wedding has led some people to believe that Baldwin is expecting, multiple sources have told TMZ that she is definitely not pregnant. The couple, who have been on-again, off-again since 2016, got engaged in July on a trip to the Bahamas. They’ve since been inseparable.
Ah, to be youngrich and in love.
