The editor-in-chief’s signature bob and dark sunglasses are peering over the September issue featuring Jennifer Lawrence on the cover. Oscar de la Renta joined in on the fun, sharing how he reads the glossy—not surprising considering he debuted his fall campaign on the photo-sharing site before Anna could in her fall issue.
The woman who inspired Miranda Pristley’s character in Lauren Wiseberger’s bestselling novel The Devil Wears Prada is asking that you take a selfie with your September issue and tag it #voguestagram when you upload it to the photo sharing app. A pretty big deal for someone who hasn’t used Instagram for anything ever, and only tweeted once when the Supreme Court overturned the Defense of Marriage Act. Perhaps, Vogue is now in the race to see who in fashion can embrace social media the fastest. Either way, this was a very pleasant surprise.
