Backstage Beauty Beat: Yigal Azrouël Fall 2014

THE SHOW: Yigal Azrouël

THE HAIR: James Pect  returned to provide grungy glam locks for the models. He began by prepping the hair with Alterna Bamboo Style Boho Waves Touseled Texture Mist and the brand's Bamboo Style Cleanse Extend Translucent Dry Shampoo at the roots before rough drying the strands with the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i. Once dry, he twisted the tresses for more bend and texture and made a soft natural part into the hair for an easy ponytail. He pulled a few wisps for an undone look and spritz the center part with the Bamboo Smooth Kendi Dry Oil Micromist to create a racing stripe. He polished the look with a spritz of the Caviar Anti-Aging Working Hair Spray on his fingertips to push the hair down against the head.

THE MAKEUP: Yadim crafted a smoldering neutral look that rivaled summer's bronziest beauty looks. He started with a wash of MAC's Taupe blush on the eyes, adding a bit of emphasis to the lower lashes with the Stone Lip Pencil. He skipped the mascara, brushed up the brows, and added clear gloss on the lid for shine. He used the same blush to contour the cheeks and dappled a mix of Pearl and Shell Cream Colour Base to the tops of the cheeks. He finished the looks with a dab of concealer and balm on the lips.

THE MANI: Gina Edwards added a feminine flair to the edgy look with two easy coats of Morgan Taylor's From Paris with Love nail lacquer.
