Beauty Buzz: Are Mullets Making a Comeback?, Clinique’s #TBT, and Rachel Roy’s Seasonal Sweet Escape

While pixies reigned supreme in 2013, it seems everyone is having trouble growing out the cropped coif. Some stars we’ve seen sporting the lob, but others are trying a more cringe-worthy style: the mullet. In lieu of the frightful ‘80s look, models like Lindsey Wixson and Edie Campbell are trying to bring a more ‘70s vibe to it. Regardless, we’re having trouble signing off on this one. The brand has created set of shadows, known as the A Black Honey Affair All About Shadow set, to celebrate the shade that has become a cult classic since its debut in 1971. The set features hues of light browns to deep purples that would complement any complexion just like the lippie that inspired it. [Glam Inbox]

It’s customary now to snap a selfie as soon as you’re finished in the stylists chair, but DreamDry and Baileys are taking it to the next level. On October 10-11, mane mavens can stop in at the salon for complimentary hair touch-ups before they step in front of founder Annie Vasquez’s camera. Afterwards you can sip and sample Bailey’s new Chocolate Cherry flavor at Gaslight from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m., Serafina from 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m., and cocktails at The Chester both evenings. I’ll drink to that! [Glam Inbox]
