Bridal Beauty: Carolina Herrera Spring 2015

THE SHOW: Carolina Herrera Bridal

THE HAIR: Nina Dimachki  and Akemi Tamaribuchi  teamed up to create two classic styles: a fitted French Twist and long chignon. Both styles began with a generous amount of Kérastase's Mousse Bouffant applied from roots to ends, which was then blow dried into the hair. The hair then received a large blast of Laque Dentelle before going into a classic roller set for added volume and then pulled back. Then the hair was raked back with the fingers into either a tight French twist, staying close to the head, or a stretched chignon to cover the nape of the neck. She finished with a veil of Laque Dentelle to keep everything in place.

THE MAKEUP: Bobbi Brown's right hand, Kimberly Soane, stuck to Herrera's classic aesthetic by enhancing the natural beauties of the brides by first moisturizing the skin with the Hydrating Face Cream. After creating a clean canvas with touches of foundation and concealer where needed, she dusted a bit of retouching powder to mattify, adding a blend of the Sand Pink and Pale Pink blush to flush out the cheek. The brows were brushed and defined before Soane patted on Ivory shadow, creating depth in the crease with Taupe and Shell on the lid. She created a tight winged liner look with Black Ink and a few coats of mascara for added drama. After shaping the lips with the Pink Mauve lip liner, she patted Herrera's signature Lip Sheer.

THE MANI: Julie Kandalec drew from the pearlescent textures of the fabrics with two easy coats of Essie's Imported Bubbly on the tips and toes.
