… And Lucky magazine gets luckier. The glossy’s well-heeled editor-in-chief, Eva Chen has just added two heavy fashion hitters to her masthead.
Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, who styled both Anna Wintour’s first cover for Vogue in 1988 and Chen’s first Lucky cover in September, was just named fashion editor at large. Her first high profile position since styling Nicole Kidman for V magazine in 2012 after leaving Vogue in 1995.
Joining de Dudzeele, Katia Kuethe is Lucky magazine’s new creative director. She previously worked as Kate Spade’s senior director of creative and before that Kuethe was Teen Vogue’s creative director--completing Chen’s dream team.
“What you’re not going to see is a crazy overhaul or crazy aesthetic change because the Lucky reader has seen that already,” Chen told Women’s Wear Daily. “The tweaks people can expect to continue to see are small, a refinement of what we’ve established in the first four issues.”
We’re excited to see what all this means for the magazine under Chen’s command.
