As Project Runway continues with Project Runway: Teams, the spaces the designers share are extra important. We got a look at the show’s home away from home, the Atlas New York, where the contestants enjoyed not just the digs but the rental building but the personalized concierge service, the Atlas Fitness Club and Lounge, as well as the rooftop access for the building’s exclusive concerts.
Project Runway interior designer Katherine De Luca has added the show’s editorial touch to the abodes with bold patterned walls in houndstooth, polka dot, check, and chevron – all elements that have been revived on the runway time and again. She drew her inspiration from the Atlas New York’s location in midst of the garment district, saying it’s “a gem of a building that has timeless appeal and outstanding views of the of the city” where it is “abound with resources and inspiration.”
Take a look at where this season’s contestants will be call home during their stay in the big city and be sure to tune on Thursday nights on at 9:00 PM/8:00 on Lifetime.
