HSN Partners with “Snow White and the Huntsman” for Posionously Pretty Beauty Buys

In honor of “Snow White and the Huntsman,” hitting theaters June 1, HSN has teamed up with a number of designers to craft a collection of beauty products, jewels, clothing, and trinkets that, while beautiful and glamorous, will allow fans to indulge in their dark sides.

Deborah Lippmann was one of many who drew inspiration from the film and crafted a nail polish duo for the collaboration called, in true fairy-tale fashion, “Good vs. Evil.” It includes two complimentary shades: a deep, rich eggplant called “Dark Side of the Moon” and a sheer, misty pink called “Prelude to a Kiss.” The lacquers go on smoothly and dry quickly, leaving a clean finish. The colors themselves are as enchanting as the names suggest and allow for a huge range of design options when it comes to crafting a nail look.

To go along with a delightfully demure or wonderfully wicked manicure, D.L. & Company created a pocket watch, but as in all fairy tales, looks can be deceiving. Instead of putting a clock inside, they opted for solid fragrance and, most appropriately, a mirror. The etched silver compact opens with a simple click of the knob and dangles on a black satin ribbon. This pocket watch fragrance has a duplicitous feel like the Deborah Lippmann polish duo and of course, like the movie itself. It looks more festive than a regular compact and doubles as a perfume on the go – because after all, who said magic mirrors only existed in fairy tales?
