Make room in your shoe closet, because you're going to want to indulge in this collaboration. In anticipation of its show this season, J.Crew announced a very exciting project for Spring 2014 which will be unveiled during tomorrow’s presentation. The American retailer is teaming up with British shoe designer Sophia Webster!
“The collection is really fun and feminine, very me, but still a hybrid of the two brands,” Webster told Women’s Wear Daily. “The brand has a real sense of fun and color that I love, and I think that my designs complement their clothes well.”
That means bright taffeta fabrics, patent leather, star, floral and polka dots, neon shades, and a palette of blues all embroidered details and crystals, paired with Webster’s tassels. Though, we like the way the brand’s president and creative director Jenna Lyons puts it,”[The shoes] are like miniature sets—a beautiful world for your feet to spend the day in. Each shoes tells a unique story.”
