Julien Dossena is Paco Rabanne’s New Creative Director

Hopefully, the third time's the charm for Paco Rabanne! Julien Dossena was just named creative director for the French fashion house – the third creative director in three years.

“We are delighted to welcome Julien Dossena,” the brand told Women’s Wear Daily. “His radical and innovative interpretation of the Paco Rabanne style will allow is to firmly establish our collections in the world of the most avant-garde and desirable brands on the market.”

Dossena will oversee accessories and present his first official collection during Paris Fashion Week, but he's no stranger to the brand, having joined Paco Rabanne in early 2013 to help former creative director Lydia Maurer design the label’s fall ready-to-wear collection. In addition to his own line, Atto, Dossena worked under Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga from 2008 to 2012.

“I’m delighted to be joining this house, which boasts a unique heritage,” Paco Rabanne’s new leader said. “I have always been fascinated by the forward-thinking attitude and innovative approach distinct to Paco Rabanne. It’s not a great honor to be appointed its creative director.”

Congrats to him!
