Kiehl’s Gets In On the Mani Game
The yet to be named glossy black lacquer is slated to hit shelves in late in July just in time to raise funds for the brand’s 4th annual LifeRide motorcycle trip to raise awareness about HIV and donations for amfAR. “We’ve had motorcycles [in our stores] for 40-plus years, and we’ve always had that biker-esque image, so we thought black would be great,” Kiehl’s President Chris Salgardo told Women’s Wear Daily.
As for LifeRide, the route has changed from West Coast to East Coast, starting in Milwaukee and ending at the brand’s flagship in Manhattan, their longest route to date. The annual convoy serves as “a way to start the conversation” about sexual health, “[a]nd our nails will look badass along the way,” said Salgardo.
