Kim Kardashian’s Vogue Spread Made her Feel Like Carrie Bradshaw

Kim Kardashian stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday night for a little fashion talk. You know, considering they both have Vogue in common now. Meyers earned a feature in the March issue and Kardashian, as we’re sure you’ve heard is featured on the April cover.

…which she claims she didn’t know was happening.

“I knew it was happening, obviously because I was shooting it, but I didn’t know it would be the cover,” she told Meyers. “It was such a secret. I didn’t tell my sisters. I didn’t tell anyone. My mom knew because we had to use parts of her home. So it was part of this top secret mission.”

Just when I was about to say something sassy about the reality star not understanding the gravity of having Annie Leibovitz photograph her or Hamish Bowles and Grace Coddington dress in disguises to show up at Kris Jenner’s home for the spread, she had to go and make me smile.

“Every girl grows up dreaming that they can be on the cover of Vogue and I collected vintage Vogues forever. It’s honestly the biggest dream come true and I’m so honored to be on the cover.”

“I felt like the real life Carrie Bradshaw, it was like the Sex and the City moment—shooting for Vogue, trying on wedding gowns.”

Watch the interview below. I won’t tell if it makes you smile.
