Matthew Williamson Teams Up with Benefit
The London Fashion Week regular collaborated with the beauty brand on a new makeup palette called Rich Is Back. It contains three neutral shadows with a touch of shimmer and a pop of teal as well as a blush that’s perfect for all skin tones, a mini mascara, and a cherry lip gloss. The palette provides a complete look that can easily help you transition from desk to drinks to date night.
Inspired by the ’70s, the box has a kaleidoscope motif, complete with peacock feathers for the disco age and pink flowers as an homage to the decade’s flower children. But the demure makeup tones that allow for wearability stand in contrast. “They take a slightly irreverent, tongue-in-cheek approach,” he told Women’s Wear Daily. “And the optimism expressed in the brand is something I like to do in my work. [For makeup] I’m definitely of the mindset less is more.”
