Barbz, we’ve got some good news and some bad news. The bad is that Nicki Minaj November won’t be a thing: hip-hop’s reigning femcee is pushing the pre-Thanksgiving release of The Pinkprint back to December 15. As much of a blow as that is, there is some consolation.
Today, Minaj released a star-laced new single from her third album, “Only,” featuring label mates Lil Wayne and Drake, and Chris Brown. She first teased the drop on Instagram a few days ago, and, true to her word, she delivered.
Well done Onika. Well done.
Though we’re disappointed about the wait, we have to consider Minaj’s most-recent delay. When she pushed back the release of “Anaconda,” it was because she recorded a secret remix to “Flawless” with Beyoncé... and we all know how big of a deal that was. Who knows what she has planned with The Pinkprint’s impending domination?!
