Tommy Hilfiger pushed prep out into the countryside for a fun fox hunt with his Fall 2012 collection. Blending in equestrian elements like high collars, riding boots, double breasted blazers and coats, and field jacket quilted suede panels, left Tommy looking for something clean and simple for the model’s beauty look.
Head makeup artist MAC’s Diane Kendal, kept the models’ faces nearly nude. “It’s very country,” she said. “So we wanted to go very fresh and fabulous.”
She created the base using MAC’s Studio Moisture Cream, and covered any blemishes with Studio Finish Concealer. She then blended Cremeblend Blush in Ladyblush from the center of the cheek back using her fingertips instead of a brush for a lightly flushed look. “We wanted to give them a healthy hue,” she explained.
She combed the eyebrows with the Clear Brow Set and moisturized the lip with Lip Conditioner before sending them down the gavel-lined runway. It’s an easy runway look any girl can recreate during the blustery days of fall.
