We all have an inner child in us squirming to come out; but in a 9-to-5 world, there isn't always time for play. Rachel Antonoff's Fall 2012 collection brought the fanciful majesty of her own childhood musings to life with adult-appropriate prints, quirky babydoll dresses, and collars that took us back to grammar school. Her set was amazing too: the black forest backdrop and eery lighting set a hazy, day-dreaming mood as models stood along a wooden pier. Arrested Development's Alia Shawkat blew us away as the resident lady singing the blues, with renditions of Billie Holiday-era melodies backed by an accordion and cello player. What we really loved from the show — aside from Antonoff's feline fashion fixture Mr. Wendy — was the model's awesome patent leather creepers and printed Mary Janes (from the Bass Loves Rachel Antonoff collaboration), and the CND floral moon manicure. Just darling!
