Oscars 2014: Get Lupita Nyong’o’s Princess-Perfect Tresses and Tips

Lupita Nyong'ochanneled her inner princess in a “Nairobi blue” custom Prada gown. Her style knocked it out of the park again as she nabbed Oscar gold for her role in 12 Years a Slave, later giving away her Clarins HydraQuench Moisture Replenishing Balm to Ellen Degeneres as payment for pizza. The red carpet darling turned to Larry Sims and Deborah Lippmann to get glammed up with a sweet and subtle look.

Sims started with a quarter-sized amount of Smooth' N Shine Pro Curls Gelle Parfait, applying it to Nyong'o's damp hair to smooth down the front hairline to make way for her gilded Fred Leighton headband. He added a dap of the brand's Go Pro Gro Creme Oil to the sides for a smooth and shiny finish. He polished the style with a spritz of göt2b's Rise 'n Shine Luminous Lift Hairspray.

Lippmann complemented the pale blue gown with two coats of her signature polish in La Vie En Rose between coats of her Gel Lab Base and Top Coat.
