Party Report: Beauty and Beer with Goose Island and Benefit Cosmetics

THE PARTY: Guests experienced an evening of beauty and beer with Goose Island Brewery and Benefit Cosmetics.

THE PLACE: The Benefit Cosmetics and Brow Bar San Francisco flagship store at 262 Sutter Street

THE DEETS: To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Chicago based beer company, Goose Island, has launched a “Migration Week” series, visiting 12 cities in 12 weeks. They stopped by Benefit Cosmetics on the San Francisco leg of the tour to talk about two things that go hand in hand: awesome women and delicious beer. Guests were treated to complimentary Benefit brow waxes and mini makeovers by the makeup mavens of the Sutter Street store and were then encouraged to spend their gifted swag card on some of the products their consultant suggested. From the “CORALista” blush to the “Gimme Brow” volumizing-gel (Glam favorites), Benefit had all the essentials in stock. Amidst the pampering, ladies sipped on Goose Island's rich beer and nibbled on Wild Ophelia cocoa delights–the official chocolate of the Hunter Games series! Of the brews, there was the year round crowd favorite, “Sophie,” a cherry flavored Flanders Brown named “Madame Rose,” and a deeply complex, raspberry infused beer called “Lolita.”
