Party Report: St. Ives Gets Spooky for National Scrub Off Day
THE PARTY: A Halloween Spooktacular to toast to the Upcoming National Scrub Off Day
THE PLACE: The Heath at The McKittrick Hotel, home of Sleep No More
THE DEETS: Tuesday night beauty editors and their plus ones from across the Big Apple converged on The Heath for a fun-filled Halloween fête filled with sweet treats like customized candy apples and hor d’oeuvres as well as fun activities, including pumpkin painting, tarot card reading, personalized haikus from Poetry at Parties, puppet shows, and face painting – all to the tunes of a live band. Everyone left armed with everything needed for a clean slate after the holiday’s festivities including the brand’s signature scrubs and new Fresh Hydration sprays.
Why all the pomp and circumstance? Well, the face paint has to come off eventually, and St. Ives has declared November 1st National Scrub Off Day to mark when everyone takes of their makeup off from the night before and return their skin to its natural state. Skincare savants can join in on the fun by tagging past or present costumes with the hashtag #ScrubOff for the chance to win prize pack of product and $250 giftcard to a participating retailer.
