The most noteworthy Chanel bags at Paris Fashion Week weren't on the runway, but sitting coyly on the laps of our favorite celebrities in the front-row instead. Check out our favorite totes that were toted into the tent forKarl Lagerfeld's spring 2014 show.
Rita Ora's signature style is fashion forward and keen on unorthodox designs--so it's no wonder that she chose to rock the Evening Flap in lambskin and shiny silver from Chanel's fall/winter 2013 collection. The clutch may look a bit like a toiler paper roll holder, but she makes the futuristic accessory work with smart styling, matching it to the metallic detailing on her sweater dress and retro red lips.
While model Miranda Kerr was too busy starring in the Chanel show to be a presence in the front row, she showed support for the brand via her street style attire as she left the tents. Kerr was spotted holding the black quilted "Chain Me" shopper tote, a change from the daintier Chanel iconic flap top purses she's been known to usually carry.
Leave it to Katy Perry to juxtapose a classic feminine floral print dress with a such an untraditional and edgy bag. She was spotted entering the Paris tents with the Chanel clear lego purse from the spring/summer 2013 handbag line. The clutch is made of plexiglass with a lambskin lining and a long chain, a design that proves that the iconic, luxury brand knows how to be fun and funky too. Pals Rihanna and Rita Ora have been spotted carrying the all yellow and all red versions respectively.
Speaking of fun and funky, check out the minaudiere plexiglas with tweed (a Chanel signature!) clutch Leigh Lezark was photographed holding at the Chanel show. This bag beauty is from the design house's most recent collection and we love how it incorporates a touch of tartan, the ultimate print for fall. Lezark ups the punk by pairing it with a croc-leather skirt and thigh-hight chain embellished boots.
