If you’re like us and you’ve ever wanted to get a piece of Posh, the time has come. WWD reports that Victoria Beckham is emptying her closet—and selling the stuff she's over. Cue: squeals, since her trash is absolutely our treasure.
More than 600 items will be sold in an auction taking place on The Outnet, with a percentage of the proceeds going to mothers2mothers, a nonprofit organization that trains, employs and empowers mothers living with HIV.
“I laughed a lot when we were going through my wardrobe, as the pieces hold so many happy memories for me, David and the children,” Beckham said. “A lot of the clothes have been specially designed for me by the most talented designers and I’ve loved wearing them.” In addition to outfits Beckham wore to parties and awards shows, there will be a selection of 10 of her most iconic pieces (including that white Dolce & Gabbana dress she wore to the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards) that will be part of a “Going, Going, Gone” reverse auction.
Register now at theoutnet.com for access to the private sale, which runs August 20-25. Until then, may your dreams be filled with images of what must be the most impressive shoe collection out there, glamorous Posh-worthy gowns and, of course, little Gucci dresses. Now go practice your best Victoria Beckham Pose.
