Style Scoop: Annie Leibovitz is Afraid of Kimye’s Celebrity, Wear Diana Vreeland’s Jewelry, H&M Steps Out for Fall

You know the Instagram post seen around the world? The two pictures that Kim Kardashian and her new husband Kanye West shared from their wedding day? The pictures took 4 days to perfect because Annie Leibovitz backed out of being their wedding photographer one day before the nuptials took place. “She was afraid of celebrity,” West said of the famed photographer. “Because Annie pulled out, I was like, ‘Okay, I still want my wedding photos to look like Annie Leibovitz’ and we sat there and worked on that photo for, like, four days because the flowers were off-color.” [Page Six]

Claire Fouchè, a former couture jewelry designer for Fabergè, just announced that she is launching a new line of jewelry inspired by legendary Vogue editor Diana Vreeland. “Her power as a woman struck me in the way she wore her jewelry, boldly styling ethnic warrior cuffs with couture earrings and cocktail rings,” she said of Vreeland. “I began to think of how I could create jewelry that combines couture-luxe with handmade craftsmanship in a modern context.” [British Vogue]

H&M is continuing their quest for world domination. The Swedish retailer plans to step up its shoe game for fall, launching “an extending and improved shoe range for men, women, teenagers and children” in select locations in 9 countries. [Fashionista]

Listen up designers: LiLo isn’t in the habit of flying for fashion shows. “No, I don’t fly [for shows]. Unless it’s Chanel,” Lindsay Lohan said. “Or Jeremy Scott!” Well, then. Glad we got that squared away. [The Cut]

… and while we’re at it, don’t call Cara Delevingne your muse. “Being a muse to Mulberry… it’s just very funny to me,” she said in a new video for the brand. “You have so many interests and hobbies and different things going on in your life. Your bag has to match that,” she said of her bag designs. “So it’s kind of trying to find how many things we could do to make that bag practical.” [Elle]
