LadyGaga is the cover queen for four editions of V Magazine's Icons and Ingenues issue, shot by her ARTPOP collaborators Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. A second set of nude photos have emerged from the project—certainly an extension of her work withperforming artist Marina Abramovi?—but for the first cover's reveal, she's laced in custom Saint Laurent, echoing the brand's Music Project campaign. Bet on Blake Lively's Lucky style this fall. The H&M dress she wore for her September spread in the magazine is now available for pre-order along with its full Paris Collection. The Fall 2013 range marked the first time in eight years that the Swedish retailer returned to the runway, and on August 22, New Yorkers will be able to get a head start on their City of Lights wishlist. For two days, H&M will host a Meatpacking Try-On Lab where customers can get fitted in looks from the collection and order them online prior to the September 5 in-store launch. [Racked]

Could North West land on the cover of Vogue? Radar Onlinereports that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have kept their precious newborn out of the public eye because they want her photographed for Anna Wintour's glossy. While it could be a hit (Kardashian's April 2013 cover of Cosmopolitan is the highest-selling magazine of the year with 1.2 copies moved), we doubt Wintour would cosign. “It’s also pretty well-known that Anna is no fan of Kim or any reality star appearing in the pages of the magazine,” an unnamed source told Radar One. Perhaps L'Uomowas enough. [Fashionista]

We have to wait until fall for Georgina Chapman's film debut, but in the meantime, Rodarte is serving its fair share of fashion and fantasy. Brand designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy teamed up with director Todd Cole for a short film inspired by Spring 2013, this time casting Elijah Wood, actress Sidney Williams, and model Guinevere Van Seenus in the lead roles. As covetable as her curves are, Alessandra Ambrosio refuses to bare it all. “I never really did a nude shoot,” she told reporters during a press junket for the 50th anniversary Pirelli Calendar. “I’m not comfortable doing them, so I always had a G-string, or I cover my boobs so it looks like I’m nude.” The Pirelli veteran will join other calendar alumnae like Miranda KerrAlek WekHelena Christensen, and Karolina Kurkova for the 2014 edition of the annual release. Wonder why women will spend $100 or more on the perfect swimsuit? Complex construction, durable yet stretchy fabrics, and a short amount of time on the sales floor are all to blame, driving up costs of production for summer's slinkiest wears. [Slate]
