Style Scoop: Kate Moss T-Shirt Gets The Boot, Dolce & Gabbana Are Still Guilty, H&M Will Expand Its Footprint


While Kate Moss stands by her infamous tagline, “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels,” the Twitterverse doesn’t feel so strongly. The Bay reportedly pulled the t-shirt that features the quote inside a nutrition label from stores and online, after customers complained on the social media platform. Christopher Lee Suave, the designer of the t-shirt issued an apology stating, “Most, if not all, of my designs showcase some type of statement pointing to the absurdity of fashion, and this one item is no exception. I fully understand and comprehend the severity of an eating disorder and I do not condone celebrating such pain.” [Vogue UK]

The appeals court handling Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s tax trial upheld the decision of the lower court, ruling the defendants guilty of tax mitigation. The design duo did receive a reduction in their jail sentences, but the court ultimately concluded that there’s no way they weren’t “aware of the project [to avoid Italian taxes].” [WWD]

H&M is stepping up its shoe game. The retail giant’s CEO, Karl Johan Persson stated that H&M “will launch an extended and improved shoe range for women, men, teenagers and children.” The new shoe line is said to be going on sale online and in select stores by the fall. [Fashion Gone Rogue]
