A campaign like this is certainly an achievement for the 19-year-old model, but it’s also quite a win for the brand, which is no doubt relying on Jenner’s social media prowess to help spread the word. Tom Ford has teamed up with George Clooney to work on a screen adaptation of 1993 novel called “Tony and Susan.” Ford has written and will direct the film, titled “Nocturnal Animals,” and Clooney will produce the project with Grant Heslov, his partner at Smokehouse Pictures. Women’s Wear Daily reports that Amazon is engaged in “ongoing talks” to buy e-commerce giant Net-a-porter. The site was purchased by Compagnie Financiere Ruchemont in 2010 but it’s possible that the luxury group will monetize the value of Net-a-porter and sell it to a company willing to invest in it long-term.
