Super Easy At Home Body Scrubs, Thanks To Eco-Tools

If you’ve been reading my blogs for a while, you know I love to mix things up in my beauty regimen. Sure, I love buying high end and low end beauty and bodycare products. I also love being empowered with the knowledge of what’s in my products so I can make them myself when the mood strikes. I keep a fully stocked beauty pantry for just that purpose! Last week I got to put my skills to good use at the EcoTools Beauty Retreat, where a group of bloggers got to spend time with the folks behind the affordable beauty tool and accessory brand. We spent the afternoon in Chicago’s chic West Loop, learning about the newest products by EcoTools and the coolest and most effective ways to use them.

For me the most fun part was making our own hand/body and foot scrubs in adorable little jars. Each DIY scrub was intended to be paired with a specific EcoTools item to enhance their efficacy. I primarily knew EcoTools for their super affordable and super soft makeup brushes , but now I’m happy to discover the full range of products they make – including new hairbrushes, konjac root face cleansers, and lashes of every length. To enhance your body scrubs, you’ll be needing two specific EcoTools products – their Bath & Shower Gloves, and their Spa Moisture Socks. Now mix your way to silky soft decadence!

  • Rose petals
  • Brown sugar

  1. Fill jar 1/3 of the way with coconut oil
  2. Place 2-4 rose petals over the coconut oil to cover
  3. Add brown sugar until the jar is almost full
  4. Pour almond oil over the sugar to cover
  5. Wait for the oil to seep down to the flower petals, then top off with a few additional drops of almond oil

To Use: Mash all ingredients together thoroughly with a spoon, then rub onto the skin using the Bath & Shower Gloves.

Tea Tree & Mint Foot Scrub

  2. Add apricot oil until it completely covers the salt
