The Best Parties of AW11 London Fashion Week

Sure fashion shows are fun, but the real merriment happens after hours. Here's how we spent our evenings during London Fashion Week.

Club Monaco for Browns

To commemorate their first venture into the Europe retail market, Club Monaco held a fabulous fete during AW11 London Fashion Week to celebrate their collaboration with luxury UK-based retailer Browns. Hosted by Lou Doillon (the star of the Club Monaco for Browns campaign), several international fashion editors and style influencers were invited out to the Burlington House at the Royal Academy of Arts to sip delicious rhubarb martinis, enjoy a musical performance by British chanteuse Clare Maguire, and ham it up in a black-and-white photo booth.

P.S. Shop the capsule Club Monaco for Browns collection through the spring season at, or at the brick-and-mortar location: 24-27 South Molton Street / London W1K 5RD.

Diehard Mulberry fans descended upon Claridge's Ballroom to let loose after the successful showing of their Fantastic Mr. Fox-themed AW11 collection. Guests (including Rebecca Hall, Juliette Lewis, Clemence Posey, Kirsten Dunst, Amber Le Bon, Dree Hemingway, and Gemma Arterton) feasted on choice country-chic cuisine, like pint-sized chicken pot pies and mini-field mushroom pizzas washed down by bottled organic cider and bandoleer-and-burdock mojitos. The highlights? An adorable woodshed-themed photo booth (complete with fox, badger, and hedgehog face masks) and a killer performance by Kele Okereke, an up-and-coming English rocker who had everyone on their feet doing their own versions of the foxtrot. How fitting!

Vivienne Westwood 'Get a Life'

To laud the launch of her newest jewelry collection, 'Get a Life' for Palladium Alliance International, the dame with the fiery mane was joined by the likes of Olivia Palermo, Lily Cole, Diana Vickers, Jo Wood, Siouxsie Sioux, Beth Ditto and the who's who of fashion at The Wallace Collection to partake of Perrier Jouet champagne cocktails and canapes while being treated to a surprise acoustic performance by Jessie J (often called the British Katy Perry).
