Fall is here, and the trends of the season are timeless. It’s about metallics and jewel tones, deep noir lip colors and flawless skin. It’s a time to amp up the drama when it comes to beauty. Every year, cosmetics brands come out with sizzling hot fall collections, and we turn to the usual suspects for our lip and eye embellishments of choice. This season, one of the hottest fall makeup collections is coming from an unexpected source. Fashion Fair. That’s right – the classic African American beauty brand based in Chicago is coming out swinging with their new Face Forward Collection, curated by their Global Creative Director, celebrity makeup artist Tia Dantzler. This collection features some of the hottest makeup Fashion Fair has released in years, with a range of colors that will flatter women of every shade. You can get yourself a piece of this awesomeness at Doobop.com.
The lip colors are deep and unique, totally perfect for fall. Tia shared her favorites in an interview. “I love every color in this collection. Some of my top favorites are the Spicy Plum lipstick, which I consider my "lip of the season." Bordeaux is the perfect burgundy lip color that stands alone,” she says. The eye colors are more subdued but no less sizzling, ranging from shimmery neutrals to vibrant jewel tones apropos for the season. “Every women needs basic neutral shades for the quick on-the-go look and I believe we nailed it with our shades in Apricot Spice – a pink, golden tone – and Ginger Spice – a rich copper shade that perfectly accentuates the crease as well as gives the eye a “pop” when used as an eyeliner. Hints of metallic are big this season so you can't go wrong by adding Sage Mist or Iced Blush in the inner corner of the eye for that shimmer and sparkle effect,” says Tia.
