INSPIRATION: “When you go very far one way, you get in a mood to swing back the other way,” he told Women’s Wear Daily a year after his London debut (in the designer's words) which was “beaded, fringed, embroidered, colorful, blah, blah, blah.”
TRENDS: Streamlined and structured with shift dresses, hooded sweater dresses, wool tunics and a sparkling dress with the year 61—the year of the Ford’s birth—and molly crossed out under it. A nod to Jay Z no doubt. “I knocked off the knock off—in sequins, Ford said of the counterfeit jersey the rapper wore on tour.
