Carrie Underwood is still the queen of country. During June 4th’s Country Music Awards, the multiplatinum artist took home the Video of the Year award for her gold-selling, 19th single “See You Again.” Like the American Music Awards, winners at the CMTs are determined solely by fan votes, an area Underwood triumphed in before as the season four victor of American Idol in 2005. She would later bring the house down with a grand finale of “Something Bad” with fellow winner Miranda Lambert. Country-crooning couple Lambert and Blake Shelton took home top honors in the Female and Male Video of the year categories, while fan favorite Florida Georgia Line proved to be twice as nice with the most number of wins for the evening.
