Saie Beauty is an OG of subtle, glowy beauty products that saw a rise with skinimalism and the no-makeup makeup trend. The brand's easy-to-use, dewy products are extremely popular because of their quality, as well as the story and philosophy behind the brand. Founder Laney Crowell's reason for creating Saie Beauty was "built on the simple idea of feeling good and doing good," per the brand's website. This "clean beauty" brand uses high-quality ingredients free of toxins. It's "eco-conscious," too, as all its packaging supplies are recyclable and biodegradable. It also has certifications from environmental initiatives like Climate Neutral, 1% for the Planet, Plastic Negative, and Carbon Neutral Club. It's one beauty brand that makes you feel good about looking good.

The country was shocked when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022, taking away people's constitutional right to abortion. According to Pew Research Center, 62% of Americans disapprove of eliminating federal standards where states could make their laws with restrictions because it takes away fundamental human rights. Saie Beauty has always prioritized health and the environment, and now in its "The Every Body Campaign," it's taking a vital step in reproductive rights by teaming up with over 35 beauty brands to fight for abortion rights. If you love beauty and shopping for beauty products, this is your chance to shop for justice and support an important cause.

What is Saie Beauty's The Every Body Campaign?

Beauty brands have supported important causes like breast cancer to help people in need and give back to the community; similarly, many beauty brands have already shown their support for abortion rights. Now, on October 25, 2022, Saie Beauty's founder, Laney Crowell, launched The Every Body Campaign in collaboration with over 35 beauty brands, which are coming together to support SisterSong, the largest multi-ethnic Reproductive Justice Collective in the nation. SisterSong helps activate individuals and organizations to improve institutional policies and systems that impact the reproductive lives of marginalized communities.

The Every Body Campaign is the largest beauty-industry-backed reproductive justice to date, where the brands are fighting together to "protect Every Body's reproductive freedom," according to the initiative's website. All participating brands are donating 100% of the proceeds from the purchase of every product in the Every Body collection to fight for reproductive freedom and support people affected by the reversal of Roe V. Wade. All participating brands are re-packaging a best-selling product in the "Every Body Green" carton, and 100% of sales will go to SisterSong whose mission is to strengthen and amplify the collective voices of indigenous women and women of color to achieve reproductive justice.

The Every Body Campaign's mission is to bring awareness to reproductive justice, encourage voting in the midterm elections, and show that the beauty industry stands with every person's birthing and bodily autonomy rights. They believe Every Body deserves the right to choose.

Laney Crowell, Saie' Beauty's founder, said in a press release, "As a mother of two daughters, I couldn't sit back and feel helpless with our rights on the line. I'm grateful and encouraged that so many like-minded brands jumped at the chance to participate, partner, and contribute to the Every Body campaign.
