6 Pieces Princess Beatrice Has Worn Over And Over Again

We all know that sustainability needs to be a global priority, and the fashion industry is certainly no exception. While it used to be unheard of for celebrities and royals to rewear fashion pieces from their own closets, things are slowly changing. In fact, even Kate Middleton — who is known for her impeccable style — has hopped onto this trend. The royal has been seen rocking the same clothing pieces multiple times, and we love her for it.

Princess Beatrice is another royal family member who has no problem digging deep into her closet and pulling out a 'fit she's already been photographed in. In fact, if she loves a dress or a jacket, the royal will wear it again — whether that be in the same year or 10 years later. And while we don't necessarily approve of all the garments she adores and rewears (bow dress, we're looking at you), we have to praise the royal for being a great role model thanks to her sustainable fashion choices.

Princess Beatrice seems to be very fond of her French-style tweed jacket, as she's worn it publicly at least twice. In 2022, the royal wore the jacket and its matching skirt and top to an Alice + Olivia store opening. In 2023, she once again reached for the jacket — this time for the Art of Wishes Gala. The princess showed off the piece's versatility by draping it over a baby-blue lace dress. Having outerwear like this is certainly great for anyone who adores the preppy aesthetic. 

At Glam, we're fully aware that royals are no strangers to the occasional fashion mishap, which is why we're not surprised that Princess Beatrice wore a rather tacky two-toned bow dress to the 2018 Global Gift Gala. We are, however, surprised that she chose to rewear the odd piece again. In 2021, she showed up in the exact same dress to Nina Flohr and Prince Philippos' wedding ceremony. Years have passed since we first saw it, and we still haven't come around to this one.

Princess Beatrice — who is a natural redhead — knows that a green dress will make her hair color pop even more, which may be why she often gravitates toward the color. In January 2013, the royal was spotted in Berlin, Germany, in a stunning A-line green dress, which she accessorized with a chunky black belt around her waist. In December 2013, the royal wore the exact same dress again at a charity ball in New York City — this time, however, she decided against the belt.

Rocking the same coat over and over again is normal for common folks, yet more rare in the world of the rich and famous — royals included. Princess Beatrice, however, has more good sense than to ditch her favorite white winter coat, and we adore her for that. The royal rocked the plaid piece at the "Together at Christmas" carol service in 2022, as well as the Fayre of St James's Christmas carol concert in 2023.

The first half of the 2010s was all about Aztec print, and Princess Beatrice certainly had her go-to piece. In 2014, she attended the launch of "Mrs. Alice In Her Palace," and for the occasion, she decided to go with a black-and-white Aztec print miniskirt. The royal combined it with a classic black tee and a statement necklace. In 2015, she pulled the skirt out of her closet again for a conference in Florence, Italy, pairing it with a white button-up and a black leather jacket for a casual yet edgy look.

We all have those pieces that fit us flawlessly and that we can rely on to always do us justice. For Princess Beatrice, this funky patterned blue-black-and-white dress seems to be exactly that — a safe choice she knows will not only be comfortable but will also photograph well. In 2012, the royal wore the A-line dress to the British Fashion Awards, and more than a decade later — in 2023 — she decided to rewear it to the inauguration of the OWO in London's Whitehall.
