Jelena joined Static Media in 2022 as a writer for Glam, where she particularly enjoys covering topics related to skincare routines, new ways to rock retro fashion pieces, and living a more sustainable lifestyle. She began her writing career as a BuzzFeed community member in 2015, and since then, she has worked with companies like Valnet. Inc and Crealon Media. She has published work on websites like Buzzfeed, The Things, Investing, The Travel, Baby Gaga, Moms, and The Talko. While working for Crealon Media, Jelena wrote various scripts for their YouTube channels. During her legal internship at the United Nations Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals, Jelena regularly contributed to the ADC-ICT Newsletter.

Education

Jelena received her bachelor's degree in international law in 2015, after which she moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, to continue her studies. Jelena received her master's degree in environment and resource management in 2017.
