Like her mom Vanessa Trump, who has had a stunning style transformation, Kai Trump has also evolved into a gorgeous young lady. From a toddler in the limelight, to a golf enthusiast, to a draw card at the 2024 Republican National Convention, Kai is proving that she's an asset to the Trump circle, which, of course, is headed by her grandfather, President Donald Trump.

Kai is wasting no time making a name for herself outside of the pursuits of her famous family. She has a YouTube channel with over a million subscribers, where she posts videos of herself golfing, getting primped for White House events, and chatting with the likes of golf pro Rory McIlroy. As one fan commented on a video of her and McIlroy, "Kai, with your work ethic, attitude, and energy, you truly serve as an inspiration to all the young girls watching you." While she seems to be more comfortable on the putting green than on the runway or in front of the camera — where other Trump women have made a name for themselves — Kai's style is blossoming into a collection of elegant gowns and glam makeup looks, which is perfect for a life in the spotlight. Look out for the next generation of Trumps, led by the oldest of the president's 11 grandchildren, Kai, who turned 18 in May 2025.

Kai Madison Trump was born in 2007, the first of Donald Trump Jr. and ex-wife Vanessa Trump's five children. She's a big sister to Donald Trump III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe. From the time that she was a baby, born and bred in New York City, Kai has been photographed at events with her parents, who were semi well-known in the early 2000s. Whether she wanted to be or not, Kai was firmly in the limelight, which may explain why she's so comfortable and open in her social media posts. It's hard to tell whether a young Kai took after her mother, a former model, or father most as a youngster. Kai Trump has been exposed to golf from a young age, even attending tournaments (as a spectator) before she could walk. She has said she started playing just a few years after she was born. On her SportsRecruit page, Kai called the game "her biggest passion." It has also guided the sporty looks we've seen as a staple of her wardrobe throughout her childhood years. Kai's on-the-green style includes short golf skirts, polo-style tops, and a visor or baseball cap. 

In 2018, Vanessa Trump filed for divorce from Kai's father and two years later, they moved from New York to Jupiter, Florida, near the family's renowned Mar-a-Lago estate. Throughout the years, grandfather Donald Trump has introduced Kai to a number of legends in the sport, including Tiger Woods, who, ironically, would go on to date her mother. These influences may have helped Kai to develop a fool-proof golfer's wardrobe, though the end of her teens would see her branching out into more sophisticated fashion choices, fit for the world stage.

For the 2024 Republican National Convention, the party wanted to win younger voters, and who better to put in front of the cameras than budding beauty and Donald Trump's granddaughter, Kai Trump? It also gave Kai a global platform to introduce herself, which led to an immediate spike in her social media following. For the event, where the teenager spoke about her love for her grandfather, she wore a fit-and-flare white dress paired with metallic strappy sandals.

While Kai only made the one speech, she was photographed rehearsing for the convention while rocking a much more down-to-earth 'fit, complete with a green crew-neck T-shirt, sunglasses resting on her head, a wrist watch, and a casual pony. However, we did notice a few subtle accessories and beauty choices that give more of an insight into the teen's sense of fun and creativity, including cute heart-shaped drop earrings and Americana red-white-and-blue nail polish.

In May 2025, Kai Trump officially entered adulthood as she turned 18. Her mother Vanessa Trump posted an Instagram tribute to her oldest daughter with ex-husband Donald Trump Jr., writing, "You are an inspiration to all!" Another thing Kai has received attention for is how she has been twinning with aunt Ivanka Trump. Kai posted a photo of herself and her aunt in January 2025 and followers immediately commented on the physical similarities between the teen and her father's sister. Like her aunt, Kai seems to have a refined sense of style. Unlike Ivanka Trump, however, insanely expensive outfits are not the main component of her wardrobe (thus far).

Kai did cause a bit of drama on the eve of her 18th birthday when she posted a TikTok video of her and some friends dancing to Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous" in a short black dress. Of course, she isn't the first presidential family member to wear a controversial outfit. But hopefully for Kai, it remains one of the minor mishaps in her highly scrutinized life. What's next for the high schooler? She's slated to attend the University of Miami in fall 2026, where she will play golf, and enter the next era of her ongoing transformation as a public figure.
