The Stunning Style Transformation Of Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who are among the celebs who got married later in life, named their first-born daughter after their favorite day of the week, as well as Sunday Reed, the Australian patron of the arts. That's certainly fitting for one of the world's most successful and revered actors and her Grammy-award-winning musician husband. Sunday Rose Urban-Kidman, who was born in July 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee, has a bit of an Aussie accent (her parents both hail from Down Under), mixed with a Southern drawl.

And until recently, there wasn't much known about the teenager, beyond snippets of what her famous parents divulged in interviews, or occasional sightings at Sydney International Airport. In 2024, that all changed, however, when Sunday Rose and her younger sister Faith Margaret made their red-carpet debut. Suddenly, a style star was born, transforming from rarely-seen tot to stunner on the global stage. Following that, she attended the Paris Olympics with her family, as well as hit red-carpet events in the City of Lights. It's time to take notice, world. Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban is ready for her close-up.

2014-2023: Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban stays largely out of the limelight

Since her early years, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban has been jet-setting with her parents, bouncing between Los Angeles, Sydney, and Nashville. Clearly, stylish travel attire was instilled from a young age. There are no cozy jammies and sweatpants for these tots. No, Sunday and Faith Margaret were always dressed in matching outfits that looked fresh when they departed the plane. We're guessing mom Nicole Kidman had her hand in the looks, which ranged from cute cotton-blend dresses to dresses topped with a denim vest. You can take the girl out of Nashville...

If you're wondering if Sunday showed early signs of wanting to follow in her parents' footsteps and pursue the stage, the answer is yes. Nicole divulged to the press that Sunday loved to sing and was cast in the school play. Sunday and Faith have appeared in three films so far, including two of their mother's projects, "Big Little Lies," and "The Undoing." They also had bit parts in "The Angry Birds Movie 2."

2024: Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban makes a splash on the global stage

In April 2024, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban hit the red carpet for the first time at age 15, to celebrate Nicole Kidman's AFI Lifetime Achievement Award. For the event, the teen, who looks like a 50-50 mix of her two parents, wore a floral strapless gown from Monique Lhuillier. The elegant drapey dress looked sophisticated but age-appropriate. Her white manicure added a touch of playfulness.

In June, Sunday's style transformation took a noticeable turn into more mature territory when she attended the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week. She wore a fitted, high-neck black minidress, black pantyhose, pointy-toe heels, and coordinating sunglasses to deflect the onslaught of paparazzi flash bulbs. Four months later, designing legend Miuccia Prada tapped Sunday to walk in her Miu Miu runway presentation, kickstarting the teen's modeling career. When asked by The Hollywood Reporter about the career choice, proud mom Nicole said, "That's all driven by her."

2025: Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban steps further into modeling and Hollywood

Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban's relationship with Miu Miu continued into 2025, as she posed for a campaign for the label. She also wore an on-trend icy-blue ensemble from the brand to a W Magazine party in January 2025, which she attended with Nicole Kidman. To avoid looking too cutesy, Sunday paired the flower appliquéd set with black tights, combat boots, and a black blazer. She posed for photos with her mother as well as with A-listers like "Wicked: For Good" star Cynthia Erivo.

In March, she walked for Miu Miu again. Speaking to Vogue at the event, she revealed, "Ms. Prada actually told me to take larger steps when you walk because it's more elegant ... it looks a lot better." She added that she felt more confident walking in her second show, though still being in high school, sometimes runway-walking has her feeling like she's on her way to class. It's only the beginning of Kidman-Urban's style career, and we're here for it, ready to see where the budding model goes next with her style journey.
