Kayleigh McEnany Is Almost Unrecognizable Makeup-Free

Like many of her fellow hosts, Fox News' Kayleigh McEnany prefers a certain makeup look when she's presenting on air. The former White House press secretary is known for her particularly intense black eyeliner, which she typically applies in the tightlining style. Along with applying black liner to both her upper and lower lids, she draws it out into exaggerated inner corners, almost resembling a Cleopatra-style eye. While the rest of her makeup is pretty standard and inconspicuous, featuring a usual amount of contouring and matte coverage, her thick eyeliner, faux lashes, and shimmery earthy eyeshadows have quickly become her signature look. She does appear with less makeup in public every now and then, but because we're so used to her go-to heavy style, her bare-faced photos always make us do a double-take. 

McEnany seems to go for a full face of makeup even when she's not presenting on Fox News, and even when she does omit the coverage, she rarely leaves out the eye makeup altogether. In a cute selfie with her newborn posted to Instagram in December 2022, she appeared without foundation or contour, but still had her false lashes and black liner. But all the way back in December 2020, she did post what appeared to be a totally makeup-free shot from Christmas at the beach in Florida with her husband. She still looks pretty without all the product, but it's an entirely different look from what we're used to.

Many of the Fox News anchors look completely different makeup-free, and Kayleigh McEnany is no exception. Nearly a year after she posted the snap from Florida, McEnany shared a video to Instagram in which she showed daughter Blake a photo of her book cover. Though she wore tortoiseshell glasses in the video, she appeared to have no makeup on and still looked beautiful. We can't confirm whether a filter was used or not, but her bare-faced look featured an even skin tone and eyes that looked more youthful without all the product. After all, our in-house makeup artist believes tightlining with black liner is a makeup mistake that's actually making Kayleigh McEnany look so much older. 

Along with a lack of eye makeup and skin products, McEnany appeared to have nothing on her lips in both posts — a major difference from her usual shiny pink gloss. Of course, the news host is free to go for whatever makeup style she chooses both on and off the air, but these product-free snaps prove that she's gorgeous either way (and certainly not trying to hide anything).
