Ivanka Trump's Bold Outfit At Lauren Sánchez's Wedding Turned Heads

Along with many other A-listers, Ivanka Trump flocked to Venice for the last weekend of June 2025 to witness the highly anticipated nuptials of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former journalist Lauren Sánchez. But unlike the worst-dressed celebs at Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos' wedding weekend, Ivanka wasn't playing around when it came to her attire. Well-prepared for the eyes of the world to scrutinize her wedding-guest looks, Ivanka came to the floating Italian city with a total of three different dresses for the celebrations, each one winning style points from fans and even some critics. But the dress that stands out as the cream of the crop, at least if the feedback from fans and the press is anything to go by, was the mini by Oscar de la Renta, which the first daughter wore to the couple's rehearsal dinner.

Featuring an ombré pink-and-white color scheme, the fitted minidress was brought to life by floral embellishments done right, namely large cherry-blossom appliqués around the dress' bust and straps of its halter neck, which were made by tightly layered sequins. The pretty frock comes from the designer's pre-fall line, where several pieces carry the cherry-blossom theme. "... this dress is perfection on you," wrote one fan beneath Ivanka's Instagram post from the festivities. As with any Ivanka post, the photos attracted backlash from those who aren't fans, which prompted one user to give their two cents on the differences of opinion: "Such jealousy....you and everyone else knows...you look Gorgeous and so is that dress!!" Meanwhile, critics of Ivanka took to Oscar de la Renta's Instagram to share their thoughts on the dress, regardless of who was wearing it. "Gorgeous dress, unfortunate choice of model," observed one, while another added, "This dress is beautiful but this post won't age well."

Ivanka Trump slayed more than once throughout the Sánchez-Bezos wedding weekend

Given that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding festivities took place over three days, Ivanka Trump naturally packed a few other stunning gowns in her suitcase. Of course, not everybody liked the Oscar de la Renta floral mini, with the biggest criticism being that it seemed too youthful and playful for a wedding. But for the actual wedding day, Ivanka was in no danger of being accused of underdressing. Continuing her floral aesthetic, she opted for another pink dress, this time strapless and dramatic with metallic petal outlines, a thigh slit, and a flowing train. Substantially formal for the wedding of the year, the dress comes from the fall 2024 couture collection of Tony Ward. The bubblegum-pink fairy-like gown also turned heads on social media, with one fan commenting, "Best dressed guests," under Ivanka's post. "Iconic. Best dressed as usual," wrote another.

No billionaire wedding would be complete without a post-wedding party, so for the third look of the event, Ivanka slipped into something a little easier to dance in. Her final wedding-guest 'fit was a sparkly Carolina Herrera black mini with intricate lace detail, a bold diamond-shaped neckline, and sequins. She finished the look off with pointy-toed black pumps and a fierce red lip, with her blond hair falling into sophisticated waves. "Wow! Wow! Wow!" fellow attendee Khloé Kardashian commented on Ivanka's post. "The best dressed in the three days," said another fan. We can't say for certain how much her looks cost yet, but we wouldn't be surprised if they joined our list of Ivanka Trump's most expensive outfits so far. While her three bold wedding looks were more than enough to make Ivanka a contender for fashionista of the year, she also packed some non-wedding 'fits into her Venice suitcase.

Even Ivanka Trump's non-wedding looks turned heads

The wedding festivities undoubtedly took up most of Ivanka Trump's time in Venice, but that doesn't mean she skimped on style for non-wedding-related outings. When she first arrived to the floating city, she was spotted hopping between water taxis in a matching two-piece from La DoubleJ. The crop-and-skirt combo featured a red-and-white print that matched beautifully with Ivanka's woven bag. Significantly more casual than her wedding looks, the two-piece was perfect for sailing around the waterways of the city with her family.

Then, in what was perhaps the perfect shade for an Italian summer dress, Ivanka opted for a bold red House of CB halter dress. She wore the stunning dress with a simple pair of flat sandals, bringing together the ultra-sophisticated with the casual to create a streetwear (or should we say canalwear) look that had the best of both worlds. The set was certainly chic, but the dazzling color of the dress seemed to attract most of the attention from fans online, making it one of Ivanka Trump's most head-turning looks of 2025 so far. "Carino abito (cute dress)," wrote one Italian fan under Ivanka's Instagram post. Another noted, "The lady is stunning and the dress is gorgeous."
