Red Flags In Brad Pitt And Ines De Ramon's Relationship From Our Matchmaker

Brad Pitt's love life has been under speculation since word first got out that he was dating Ines de Ramon back in 2022. The "Interview with the Vampire" star was seen with the much-younger jewelry designer at a Bono concert in Los Angeles, along with some other famous faces. Since then, the two have reportedly moved in together, with a source telling People, "They are going very strong and she is happier than ever." Pitt's new romance came two years before finalizing his very public and contentious divorce from Angelina Jolie, with de Ramon going through one of her own with actor Paul Wesley. This is one of the several red flags that matchmaker Susan Trombetti, CEO of Exclusive Matchmaking, sees in the couple's relationship.

Despite Pitt and de Ramon's outwardly loving appearance, both have gone through recent splits, and word is that the "F1" star doesn't want to tie the knot for the third time. "He said he won't marry again ... never say never, although I would be surprised if they wed," a source shared with Page Six. It's not unusual for Hollywood romances to fizzle out, and with Pitt and de Ramon's many differences, Trombetti foresees many challenges between the new it-couple, which she shares in an exclusive chat with Glam.

Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon are under a microscope

Brad Pitt came under fire when he seemingly ignored Ines de Ramon while receiving a standing ovation for "Wolfs" at the Venice Film Festival in 2024. In a video shared by a fan on X, George Clooney stood up to kiss his wife Amal Clooney, who's had a stunning style transformation, while de Ramon rose to give Pitt the same affection but was dismissed. In another embarrassing moment at the "F1" premiere, de Ramon leaned in to give her man a smooch, only to have Pitt turn away from her yet again, per an X account. "Brad Pitt avoiding Ines kiss (once again) hahaha, she thought he was going to kiss her and he was just trying to cross to the other side I just can't. And later snubbing her from a group picture," the user wrote.

The snub has made its rounds on social media, as well as news outlets, and Susan Trombetti exclusively tells Glam that the scrutiny can be hard to endure for such a public couple. "The press is looking for anything. The fact that they zeroed in on this 'non-kiss' and made such a big deal proves my point. Every little thing this couple does is dissected." She adds, "Given the fact that he is such a famous man coming off of a very public divorce with the very famous Angelina, the press never lets up."

Ines de Ramon was going through a divorce when she met Brad Pitt

Many may not have previously heard of Ines de Ramon, but that's because she's a jewelry designer and not a famous Hollywood actor. She was, however, married to one — Paul Wesley, who also coincidentally played a vampire. The former couple separated in April 2022, with their divorce finalized in 2024, while sources revealed to People that Pitt and de Ramon had already been together for a few months when they were first spotted together in December 2022. So, the math shows that there was likely only a few months between de Ramon's split from Wesley and the time in which she started dating Pitt.

Susan Trombetti thinks the quick timeline is a red flag, and although Pitt was still going through his divorce with Angelina Jolie, his breakup happened years ago. "I feel his divorce wasn't as big of a deal because the dust had already settled, and he didn't rush things," she exclusively tells us. "It was just a legal formality, and he did a lot of work, but I can't say the same about her. It's not good to go from one relationship to another without processing what went wrong."

Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon have a big age gap

Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon's relationship raised a lot of eyebrows, as the 26-year age difference in this celeb relationship is bigger than you probably realized. Out of all his public romances, de Ramon is the youngest woman Pitt has dated, but Susan Trombetti thinks this is standard even in matchmaking. "He is a celeb, so I think he has his pick of women. It might be harder on her because they are a generation apart," she points out exclusively to Glam.

It seems the age discrepancy isn't the only thing Pitt has to worry about. His frequent traveling and shooting schedule takes time apart from de Ramon, and a source told the Daily Mail, "Brad is struggling to keep the love alive. He is doing everything he can to keep Ines happy. That means he is flying her to New Zealand to visit and showering her with special surprises and gifts. He is really in love with her and wants to keep the relationship as solid as can be." They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but that love may soon fade when you're a young 30-something-year-old dating someone who's in his 60s, even if he is Brad Pitt.

There could be a power imbalance due to Brad Pitt's fame

Brad Pitt's name is one of the most recognized in the world, and he has starred in several of the highest-grossing films of all time. Meanwhile, even though Ines de Ramon was married to an actor, she lived her life mainly under the radar until she became Pitt's girlfriend. Matchmaker Susan Trombetti exclusively tells us, "Even their ages can create a power imbalance, but I would say it's more about the fame. While they might be living together now, his life is a very different world from what hers was before their relationship." She adds, "That could leave her unsteady in the relationship. Think of Megan Markle, who was uncertain of her new world once she was married."

Pitt has been connected to some high-profile names in the past, such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston, who made "The Rachel" haircut iconic, and it seems he's going for a non-celebrity relationship this time. "He appreciates that Ines isn't in the industry. And she seems totally unfazed by his celebrity," a source told OK! in 2024. Still, with his age, wealth, and status as a celebrity, it's easy to see how de Ramon would let Pitt wear the pants in their relationship.

Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon having to hide their relationship from the press adds pressure

Brad Pitt has been tight-lipped about his relationship with Ines de Ramon, and for good reason. Details about his two previous marriages to Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie were splashed all over the media, and they couldn't be seen in public without some media frenzy. "It's tough not being able to make a move without the paparazzi following you. My celeb clients are the same, and it's stressful," Susan Trombetti exclusively shares with Glam.

De Ramon is very aware of Pitt's celebrity and has reportedly taken measures to ensure no one in her circle gossips about them, even going as far as making them all sign an NDA, per the Daily Mail. "Ines has told all her pals to never ever leak any information of any sort about her or them. She is playing it very safe because she loves Brad and wants him to trust her, as she hopes to marry him one day. She really cares about him," a source told the outlet. "Ines knows that Brad has a big issue with women who kiss and tell, he loathes that and thinks it's lame. He has always worried that women use him for his fame." As Trombetti confirms, "Brad can never really be in public without creating a stir. It must be awful on them, or any budding relationship."
