Christina Haack Relationship Rumors Everyone's Whispering About

Christina Haack is no expert when it comes to staying single, but she has endured some treacherous relationships and been subjected to the rampant rumour mill of the internet. She first found success when she and then-husband Tarek El Moussa got their own HGTV show, "Flip or Flop," in 2013, back when Christina Haack's hair and makeup looked drastically different. She and El Moussa tied the knot in April 2009 after three years of dating, but come January 2017, El Moussa filed for divorce.

As the two continued to work together to complete months of filming, Haack quickly began a romance with television presenter Ant Anstead, even as fans speculated that there were still feelings on El Moussa's part. The two tied the knot in December 2018, while El Moussa got into a relationship with Heather Rae Young in July 2019. After wedding in October 2021, they got their own spinoff show, "The Flipping El Moussas," in 2023. Meanwhile, Haack and Anstead finalized their divorce in June 2021 following a custody battle, and "Flip or Flop" officially got canceled in March 2022. She married Josh Hall sometime early in 2022, but they divorced in 2025 amid gossip that she had cheated on him with new beau Christopher LaRocca.

"Flip or Flop" wouldn't be the last business venture between Haack and El Moussa, as they joined forces for "The Flip Off," in which Young and El Moussa would compete against Haack and Hall in January 2025. As loaded as the timelines are, it's no wonder that rumors have circulated about more than the fact that Christina Haack often dresses for revenge.

Does Tarek El Moussa still have feelings for Christina Haack?

As Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa continue to work together post-divorce, viewers have been speculating that there may be a bit of lingering tension between the two former lovebirds. A Reddit thread titled "What's up with Tarek El Moussa and Christina love triangle?" went up in 2024, and the user made the claim that there are unresolved romantic feelings. The Redditor was speaking specifically to the pilot of "The Flip Off," writing, "Remember, Christina was the one that left Tarek. Tarek NEVER wanted the divorce. Every time these two are together, they are always teasing/flirting with each other and it's not brother/sister teasing like Heather hopes it is." Additionally, they cited Heather Rae Young's striking resemblance to Haack and how they supposedly moved in together after less than a week, and that's just the surface of the red flags in Tarek El Moussa's marriage with Heather Rae.

While specific details around the divorce remain murky, there was an incident that seemed to directly lead to Haack and El Moussa's downfall. El Moussa was handcuffed by police after disappearing into the woods with a pistol in May 2016, remarking to People in February 2024, "That was the very last time we were together as a family: with Christina walking down the driveway, crying, and me sitting there in handcuffs, asking myself, 'What in the world is going on?'" Though this led to their separation, there's no evidence to support that El Moussa never wanted the divorce. The similarities between Young and Haack are uncanny; El Moussa revealed that he even mistakenly called Young "Christina" in an Instagram video posted in February 2025. Perhaps it's unresolved feelings, or maybe El Moussa just has a type.

Did Christina Haack have a fling with an HGTV contractor?

As soon as Christina Haack and Josh Hall's divorce made the news, she was already moving on. Back in December 2024, she posted a pic to her Instagram Story of "Christina on the Coast" contractor Michael Lange helping her with some holiday décor. "There are still good men left...one of them right here single handedly hoisted this 11 foot tree into my home. Appreciate you @capa_a_general," she wrote over the photo, subtly shading Hall (via Hello! Magazine).

Two days later, Haack uploaded another pic to her Instagram Story, this time with Lange's arm around her at a garden center, writing over the photo, "Putting in the work!" Lange then reposted the photo to his Instagram Story, cheekily writing, "Shopping with the queen of HGTV" (via E! News).

Flash forward to February 2025, an episode of "The Flip Off" airs, and Haack and Lange are seen holding hands. While several news outlets speculated that something was going on between them, it was all for the cameras (supposedly). After Hall's unexpected departure from the show, Lange stepped up and filled in many of his roles. "We need to win this one," Haack said to her right-hand man, to which he flirtily replied, "You're always winning in my world" (via People). She then grabbed his hand and asked, "You want to go grab a drink and pretend that we're together? Give the paparazzi something to shoot at?" As the two head out the door, he answered, "I would love to do that." Though the pair was fully committed to the act, that appeared to be the extent of their cheeky relationship.

Has Christina Haack let her kids dictate her love life?

Christina Haack gave insight into the straw that broke the camel's back during her marriage to Josh Hall, and it seems there were some external factors taken into consideration. During an episode of "The Flip Off" in January 2025, Haack and Tarek El Moussa had a heart-wrenching conversation about the state of her marriage and what led to its demise.

"We had a blow up ... middle fingers in my face. Things with Josh have been bad for a long time," Haack recounted, per Entertainment Tonight. She then expressed how her children felt about their stepdad. "The kids literally asked me to leave. They told me he's not nice to me. Why would I stick around?" Hall filed for divorce in July 2024, citing "irreconcilable differences."

"There seems to be a very healthy family dynamic going on for the kids and that's what matters most," one fan commented on Facebook, alluding to how Haack's three kids (two from her marriage to Tarek El Moussa, one with Ant Anstead) don't appear to be too upset about his absence. During an episode of "Christina on the Coast" from March 2025, she opened up to a friend about how the energy had shifted. "The house is so much better, the kids are so happy. Like, everyone in this household is thriving and the kids truly are doing great," she admitted (via People).

The rumour that Christina Haack was cheating on Josh Hall with Christopher LaRocca

With Christina Haack's three marriages and three divorces at the time of writing, there have certainly been some concerning timelines in her love life. More recently, many are accusing her of cheating on Josh Hall with Christopher LaRocca, including some who know them personally.

LaRocca's ex-girlfriend Andrea Deanna revealed to the press that they were in contact until October 2024, right around when Haack and LaRocca were first seen hand-in-hand in Italy. Both Haack and LaRocca's teams have vehemently denied any overlap in romances for both parties; however, Deanna was insistent that this was not the case. "While we were still dating, [Christopher and Christina] were dating, and she was still married, and they were still living together," she told the Daily Mail. She continued to express how this was a repetitive pattern for LaRocca, as he was unfaithful to her with his ex-fiancée early in their relationship. As for whether or not Haack and LaRocca were unfaithful to their previous relationships, it looks like a classic case of "she said, he said."

Was Christina Haack's HGTV show canceled over PDA?

In July 2025, it was announced that "Christina on the Coast" would not be renewed for a sixth season. Haack broke the news to her followers with an Instagram post, writing, "Summer so far. Basically just eating and laughing. Canceled looks good on me.... Only kidding only kidding." The news came after paparazzi caught her and Christopher LaRocca getting handsy in Cabo, and the internet wasn't particularly thrilled to see how quickly Haack had moved on again. "Who will she marry this season?" one X user wrote after TMZ posted snaps from the vacation.

Haack's racy behavior led some to believe that it was the root of her show's cancellation, with one Instagram user commenting, "Alot [sic] of people were turned off by her love life, several marriages, and now another new boyfriend." However, in reality, several HGTV shows got the chop when Haack's did, including her ex's. "The Flipping El Moussas" was also canceled after two seasons. A source revealed to the Daily Mail that the shows, along with several others, were canceled because of finances. "'Christina was grossly overpaid and with HGTV needing to cut back on costs, they couldn't afford to keep paying one of their biggest stars what she was making, so ultimately decided to cancel her show," they explained. Don't fret, though, as it has been confirmed that "The Flip Off" will be returning to the network for its second season.
