All About Charlie Kirk's Wife Erika
As the world grapples with the murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed on September 10, 2025 in Utah, many are left thinking about his wife, Erika Frantzve Kirk, and their two children. Beyond her role as Kirk's partner, Erika has built her own identity as a community-focused leader with a lifelong commitment to service.
She has described herself as a "tomboy" who grew up in a Catholic family, deeply influenced by her mother's example of giving back, one of the mindful exercises to practice empathy. "My mom used to take us to soup kitchens and constantly said we needed to share our blessings with others," she told Arizona Foothills Magazine in 2011, back when her last name was still Frantzve. At just 17, she founded Everyday Heroes Like You, an events-based nonprofit that partnered with other organizations to change lives.
Erika later turned her sights to pageantry. Many people view the dark side of modeling as a deterrent, but she viewed it as a platform to serve her community. On her 23rd birthday in 2011, she competed in the Miss Arizona USA pageant and won. Her post-win statement to Arizona Foothills gave an insight into her personality and the values that would continue to shape her. "Don't tell anyone, but that sparkly tiara is only a little plastic hat. What really matters is making a difference, and I want to change the world. The bling is just a bonus."
Erika Kirk is currently a real estate agent
Beyond pageantry, Erika Frantzve Kirk also competed in NCAA women's basketball at Regis University and later attended Arizona State University, where she majored in Political Science and International Relations. She then earned a master's degree in American Legal Studies and a doctorate in Biblical Studies at Liberty University. In 2018, she launched Proclaim, her American-made streetwear clothing line rooted in her Christian faith. That same year, she began working as a real estate agent with The Corcoran Group in New York City, per LinkedIn.
2018 was also the year Erika met Charlie Kirk. Dinner dates can easily become a first date disaster story, but that wasn't the case for the Kirks. Charlie recalled their first date during a Turning Point USA rally in 2024: "Knew almost immediately [that she was the one]. I met her and we had a very, very long dinner, which was very close to almost an interview" (via Turning Point USA). Erika reflected on that moment in a September 2023 Instagram post: "5 years ago today, we sat inside [Bill's] Burgers in NYC deep in conversation and banter over theology, philosophy, and politics and at the end, you paused, looked at me and said, 'I'm going to date you.'"
In 2020, two years after that date, Charlie proposed, and Erika shared the moment on Instagram: " ... when God writes your love story, you get to marry your best friend." Erika and Charlie went on to have two children, a boy and a girl, and the mom-of-two frequently shared updates about their life as a couple and as parents. In August, she wrote on Instagram, "Life, weirdly enough, is a countdown ... you don't get forever."
