Heidi Klum's Kids Are Growing Up So Fast

We know, it's such a granny thing to comment on how the next generation is "growing up so fast," but we're going to lean into our inner nana here and say it proudly: Heidi Klum and Seal's kids are seriously growing up so fast. Wasn't Heidi, an OG supermodel that you might not recognize today, just hitting red carpets, hosting "Project Runway," and strutting down the Victoria's Secret runway with a baby bump, helping to redefine what sexiness and motherhood meant? That was a couple decades ago? Really?

Incredibly, yes. She and Seal, who were married from 2005 to 2014, had their first child Leni Klum in 2004. (Heidi had broken up with Leni's biological father Flavio Briatore while pregnant; then she and Seal got together and he eventually adopted Leni.) Shortly after that, in 2005, came Henry Samuel, followed by Johan Samuel in 2006, and Lou Samuel in 2009. While we've seen glimpses of one or two kids with Heidi, it's rare that we get to see mama Klum with her four offspring altogether. But in September 2025, the clan appeared together at Heidi's first ever HeidiFest celebration in Munich, ahead of Oktoberfest, in her home country of Germany. As the oldest, Leni Klum has been the most visible of Heidi Klum's kids in terms of public appearances. While studying interior design in New York, Leni has dabbled in modeling, appearing in campaigns for Fila and Dior Beauty, and on the covers of a number of magazines, both in the U.S. and Germany. Henry Samuel has also hit the runway as a model during Paris Fashion Week in early 2025. Clearly, Heidi wasn't deterred by the dark side of modeling when it came to giving her children her blessing to pursue it. Johan Samuel started college in fall 2025, and Lou Samuel is presumably still in high school in LA, where Heidi lives most of the year.

In 2024, Heidi and Seal's four children made a red-carpet appearance with their father and his partner, Laura Strayer. It particularly showed the young women's individual style sense. Leni, who became one of the celebrity kids that borrowed their parents' iconic vintage outfits when she wore Heidi's old gown for prom, showed an edgier fashion profile in leather, while Lou, in a classic LBD, was more understated and looked much older than someone barely in her teens at the time.
