Christie Brinkley's Inappropriate Daytime TV Outfit Was Equal Parts Revealing And Stunning

For those of you not entirely familiar with Christie Brinkley, let us give you a brief 101 on the former model: Brinkley, who turned 71 in February 2025, began modeling in the 1970s and became known as the face of CoverGirl. She also featured repeatedly in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the '70s and '80s. In 1983, she starred in Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl" music video and eventually married the singer, though they divorced in 1994. Brinkley has dabbled in acting — you might know her from "Parks and Recreation" or "National Lampoon's Vacation" — and written three books. Unlike some models, who disappear from the scene as they age, Brinkley has never shied away from the spotlight, even raising eyebrows with some of her fashion choices.

One such look was the inappropriate outfit she wore on daytime TV that almost made us forget her age. For an April 2025 appearance on "The View," the septuagenarian wore a monochromatic pink ensemble that included shorts, an oversized blazer, and a button-up blouse. But those weren't inappropriate details. No, that was the exposed lacy black push-up bra that she wore underneath, which was a lot for "The View." One Page Six reader might not have liked the shorts, either, commenting, "I do like Christie, but I am tired of people walking around in underwear! It's tacky." 

The short shorts that showed off her legs might've been enough of a skin reveal in this case, but either way, she admittedly looked amazing. The way to avoid overexposure, though, is to reveal just one body part.

There are plenty of other examples of Christie Brinkley wearing age-defying outfits in an appropriate way, unlike the lace bra and short shorts over-reveal on "The View." Unlike the all-pink ensemble, these looks found balance between showing some leg and keeping the top half more conservative, which created a sleeker overall look.
