The Biggest Rumors About Melania Trump's Love Life Over The Years

We bet you're already caught up on the "rumors" about Donald Trump's love life — the ones that got him sued and the ones that just fizzled out but kept the tabloids buzzing. You know about all three of his marriages and the cheating scandals that kept the press busy for years. But did you know Melania Trump's record isn't exactly squeaky clean either?

Sure, the first lady is the more demure one of the pair, and aside from the infamous "I Really Don't Care, Do U?" jacket, she rarely makes front-page drama. But that's less about a lack of material and more about her husband's news overshadowing everything else.

The general consensus is that Melania's not exactly head over heels for 45-47, and she sticks around for the money. This belief is obviously unproven, but really popular. People love pointing to the hand slaps and side-eyes as red flags in Donald and Melania's relationship. But beyond the body language, Melania has her own stack of love life scandals that could rival Donald's.

How exactly did Melania and Donald Trump meet?

In Melania Trump's 2025 bestseller memoir, she told the story of how she met Donald Trump after she accepted an invitation to a party at the Kit Kat Club. "I saw my friend wave at someone behind me. When I turned around, I noticed a man and an attractive blonde woman approaching us," she wrote. "'Hi, I'm Donald Trump,' the man said when he reached my table. 'Nice to meet you'" (via X). This meeting sparked an eventual relationship, and six years later, Melania's proposal from Donald Trump came at the Met Gala. But cute as this story sounds, not everyone believes it.

It all started when author Michael Wolff sat for an interview with the Daily Beast and made explosive allegations, saying: "[Melania] was very involved in this [Jeffrey] Epstein relationship. There is this model thing, and she's introduced by a model agent, both of whom Trump and Epstein are involved with. She's introduced to Trump that way; Epstein knows her well" (via NDTV). Wolff also told the Daily Beast he has recordings of Epstein claiming that the first time Donald and Melania had sex was on Epstein's plane.

While Melania is typically laid back about rumors, she didn't take kindly to Wolff's allegations, which remain unverified. She firmly denied the allegations and threatened to sue the Daily Beast, which eventually apologized for the post. To date, Wolff's recordings have not been substantiated, but that hasn't stopped the rumors from spreading online.

Did Melania Trump have a secret lover in New York?

After Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election, there was a bit of a buzz because it took Melania Trump five months to move into the White House. There was speculation as to why, but the boldest came from Monica Byrne, a novelist and playwright, in 2017. Byrne's tweets have now been deleted, but they read: "Melania's been having an affair with the head of security at Tiffany's in the Trump Tower lobby with DT's knowledge. [...] It's why she doesn't leave New York" (via Perez Hilton).

Two years later, Noel Casler, a producer who worked with the Trumps claimed on X (then Twitter) that Trump and Melania never lived together in Trump Tower. "[Melania] lived with her boyfriend. We had to book the [transportation] on '[Apprentice]' Finales, and her pick-up was NOT on 5th Ave." But unlike many rumors that are nameless and faceless, this one came with an alleged affair partner: Henry 'Hank' Siemers. Hank works as the vice president of security at Tiffany & Co., which is in the same building as Trump Tower in New York.

The rumors don't stop at an affair. Some even speculate that Barron Trump isn't actually Donald's son at all. One X user wrote: "I saw Barron Trump is trending and so again I ask... how tall is Melania's boyfriend Hank Siemers??" These rumors are unverified, and neither party has offered any comments on them. However, this is one conspiracy theory that has no plans to die down. Just like the rumor about Kristi Noem's love life that just won't go away, the internet seems intent on keeping the Melania and Hank rumors going no matter what.
