How Emily Blunt's Face Has Transformed Over The Years, According To Our Plastic Surgeon

For years, many have speculated on whether Emily Blunt has had work done to her face, as fans are noticing aesthetic changes that have appeared throughout her career. Blunt rose to fame as the competitive, career-driven assistant in "The Devil Wears Prada," and has continued to star in successful hits for almost two decades. Of course, her features have naturally altered with age, but Dr. Michael Niccole, board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder and medical director of CosmetiCare Plastic Surgery Center & MedSpa in Newport beach, California, thinks she's had some work done.

The expert exclusively tells Glam, "In looking at her photos, it appears she may have had some subtle work done — most likely Botox [as] she doesn't have many wrinkles. Her forehead and frown lines don't appear at all." Aside from possibly getting some preventative Botox, Dr. Niccole believes Blunt had blepharoplasty, which is the trendy micro-procedure that aims for your eyelids. He notes, "Her upper lids appear more open and less heavy in later photos." As someone in her early 40s, the "Fall Guy" actor looks great for her age, and the surgeon thinks she may want to go for a more extensive procedure down the road.

Emily Blunt may opt for plastic surgery if she wants to maintain her youthful appearance

Emily Blunt is gorgeous at any age, but gravity is naturally going to take its toll on her skin eventually. Dr. Michael Niccole exclusively shares with us, "I will say she's aging gracefully, but she does show early signs of laxity around the neck and jawline. She could benefit from a lower facelift or neck lift in the coming years to maintain her definition and skin tone." He also notes that if Blunt had any plastic surgery, the doctor did a great job in not changing her appearance too much. "Overall, any procedures appear to have been done conservatively — she looks refreshed and natural, not overdone," Dr. Niccole adds.

Unlike many other celebrities who have opened up about their plastic surgery experience, Blunt has hinted that she never went under the knife. In 2019, she told Woman & Home, "In Hollywood, people are suffocated by plastic surgery, but striving for an impassive perfection isn't something I ever found beautiful or have tried to achieve myself." Hey, if she ever needs a snatched look but doesn't want an invasive procedure, Blunt can always apply lift tape to her face, and none would be the wiser.
